這是在車禍中痛失了十四歲兒子的單親母親對女兒的說話:「哥哥好偉大，佢雖然離開我地，但係佢好似仲係我地身邊，我地可以聽到佢嘅呼吸、佢嘅心跳……因為佢已經變成天使，你一定要勇敢面對，學識照顧自己。」這個母親真是十分堅強和衛大,
當知道兒子因腦幹死亡返魂無術時,
就立刻決定把自己兒子身上所有有用的器官，
包括心、肝、肺、腎、眼角膜以至皮膚和骨骼,盡數捐出,
至今至少已有七人受惠.
據知她作出這個決定時,兒子的身體還是有微温的,
但由於器管移植是分秒必爭的,
為了多幫助幾個人延續生命,
她不假思索便作出了這個重大的決定,
這種衛大無私的行為非常可敬可佩,
我在這裏向她和她的家人致以崇高的致敬和慰問!

When my father died, the doctors couldn't find the reason but just knew it's some kind of cancer. They asked my mother if they could do some research on the body and my mom refused. Since cancer is something that can be passed on genetically, my brother was angry that she didn't care about us.

I understood your feeling.
Your mom may have a traditional mind and she just want to keep a "whole body" for your dad.
It was not easy for her to accept doctor's request at that time.
Anyway, it pasts away already.
