光棍佬敎仔呀!

其實兩鐵合併與否我真是没有什麼所謂,
現在支持合併的人大多數都是希望合併後可以減價,
但哩個世界邊度有咁大隻蛤蚧隨街跳吖,
地鐵主錢果豐話如果明年四月立法會未能通過合併草案,
地鐵就會有加價壓力喎,
咁樣擺明係出口術啦,
電視上又係咁賣廣告,
什麼雙併唔加價喎,
想出埋群眾壓力逼立法會盡快通過草案啦!
地鐵哩招果然厲害,
如果我哋盲踪踪就話合併就實死無疑!

哩單簡直係領滙嘅翻版呀,
地鐵係上市公司哩架,
最終嘅目的係賺錢,
重係愈多愈好添,
話就話合併後就會減價,
減幾多先?點減先?
減少少後會唔會加返多多先?
合併草案建議票價根據物價及工資數據計算,
而且又毋須諮詢立法會,
到時年年通漲咪要年年加價?
地鐵係香港人嘅生活必需品,
如果無王管你話大唔大劑吖?

你哋記唔記得東隧單嘢呀?
由於政府無權監管隧道收費,
結果咪任佢加幾多就幾多囉,
東隧老闆榮智健重吋到話想收購埋你條紅隧添呀!
所以係一些對民生有重要影響嘅課題,
我哋真係要小心行事,
千奇唔好俾眼前小利蒙蔽,
否則禍害無窮呀!
你唔搭地鐵東鐵可以搭物吖?
唔通搭巴士轉九次車咩?

The railways in Hong Kong don't make most of the profit from fares but from property. We consider MTR as a property stock rather than transportation stock. It's the sales of property along the railway that they make most of the profit and use that to subsidise the operation of the railway.

It not because of any synergy they can cut the fare but most likely because of the good property market.

我們只是擔心如果兩鐵仮合併而又没有合適嘅票價機機制監管的話,
作為一間上市公司以profit making為大前題時,
作為大眾嘅消費者就會肉隨枮板上了,
地產利潤又不一定要補貼車資的,
當地鐵為了要向股東交代時,
票價就在所難免要不斷向上了,
那時對於日日要坐地鐵返工嘅大眾就會苦不堪言啦!

Corporate image does worth money. Otherwise, large corporations won't bother to be a socially responsible company. There are research showing how a good corporate image can increase shareholder value.

Market economy is not perfect. However, it's still better than other systems. Government intervention usually does more harm than good.

我都知自由經濟對香港係好重要,
但係兩鐵係關乎民生要題,
所以我們不得不多加小心考慮啊! :)
