Working in private banking industry, I've seen so many cases that money is not necessarily an asset. Sometimes, it can be a huge liability.
There are also researches showing the lives of winners after 10 or 15 years. All these researches show that winning a lottery is NOT necessarily a blessing.
Once met with an ex-private banker and he used to have a client who won a lottery. In the end, this person was in jail. He was being surrounded with "friends" who were in drugs after he won the lottery.

有錢了如何處理真是一個學問,
我指的不是財富管理問題,
而係如何調節心理,
不要變成財大氣疏,
給人一種膚淺的感覺!
更不可以財迷心竅,
喪失本性!
對於我來說,
發逹是為了對將來生活多個保隌障,
亦可以滿足自己一些短期理想,
好似去外國讀自己喜歡的科目,
但又可以賺唔到錢的等等!
至於生活享受則不是最重要,
吃得飽住得簡潔我又滿足了!
